Sometimes an idea needs more than just a script and some frames for a client to “get it.” Say what you want about AI, but buried underneath all the weird fingers and dead-eyed Will Smiths eating pasta is something genuinely exciting: the ability to express ideas faster, bolder, and more fully realized than ever before. I don’t use AI to replace creativity. I use it to extend it.
Apollo Tires wanted a “Pepsi Challenge” style campaign aimed at fleet owners. I came up with a concept that needed to be seen to be appreciated, so I used AI to bring the entire thing to life.
For Jack’s Christmas campaign, I used AI to create an entirely original holiday spot and song inspired by the stop-motion Christmas specials I grew up on.
This ode to Southern back roads was born from me essentially telling a skeptical client, “Give me a weekend and I’ll write you a hit country song and music video to boot.” I wrote the lyrics, asked Suno to create a catchy tune, and prompted a classic country music video complete with dusty backroads, Southern values, and of course, an alien invasion subplot.
Sometimes inspiration just hits. That’s what happened when I walked past a display of Therma-Tru doors at Home Depot and thought, “I wonder if these things could survive an axe attack?”
Everyone was complaining about Coke’s AI holiday spots, so I figured, why not throw one more onto the fire? Only this time with samurais.
